I keep hearing "why are you so calm?"
Since I got so much push back from everyone I shared my news with, I decided to follow the suggested guidelines of waiting 2 months for my reduction surgery to heal and then follow up with a breast MRI. So in July I did just that and it found some stuff - which I blogged about earlier - and seemed good enough for some to accept my insistence of removing my breasts - nipples and all.
Now fast forward several months to 12:00 pm Friday October 24, 2014. The time has come! I am asked to strip myself of all of my clothes, pee in a cup to prove I AM NOT pregnant, and to lay myself down on the uncomfortable hospital bed as I am wrapped in the paper gown labeled Bair Paw which pumped amazing warmth to my naked body.
